Quality is the be-all and end-all for our demanding customers
… and therefore of course also for a.i.m. all in metal GmbH. A portfolio of measures ensures that we can always meet the strict standards that we set ourselves in the interests of our customers.

Quality assurance

As a leading metalworking company and by introducing an all-encompassing quality management system in accordance with ISO / TS 16949:2009 that’s already been successfully validated since 2004, a.i.m. all in metal GmbH sets clear standards in metalworking.

With high-quality laboratory, testing and measuring systems, we create the basis for continuous quality assurance and the resulting product quality.

A key element of our company philosophy is the qualified training and further training of our colleagues. We also run an active suggestion scheme that forms part of our continuous improvement process (CIP).

The ongoing improvement of all processes and the associated zero-fault strategy increases market acceptance, boosts product quality and therefore customer satisfaction also.

And finally, a superbly implemented supplier management system also ensures top performance in this area.

Measuring technology

Ensuring fault-free processes is the job of our team of experienced metrologists whose field is industrial 3D coordinate measuring technology. They have extensive knowledge and the necessary experience in using 3D measuring machines.

Measuring technology

In terms of software, we rely on the market leaders, measuring software for measuring control geometries with mobile gauge arms and measuring software for measuring free-form geometries with mobile gauge arms. Careful documentation and evaluation of product characteristics is done with CAQ software.

Laboratory

When it comes to examining the quality, we are just as precise: Superbly equipped laboratories with experienced staff are an essential element of our quality assurance and of the zero-fault strategy. As early as in the running production process, we are constantly examining the data of our machines and of defined work processes. The products then undergo another thorough examination in our laboratories – the very narrow tolerances in the micrometre range are adhered to precisely.

Laboratory

In order to examine our parts in line with our customers’ stringent requirements, we rely on various testing methods such as tapping torque and overtorque tests up to 500 Nm, tensile and compressive tests up to 250 kN, micro-hardness and macro-hardness tests, mobile spectral analysis, roughness tests, microsections and analyses, as well as metallographic tests.
